1. Lifting stretcher, walking wheel stretcher
2. Shovel stretcher
The shovel stretcher is composed of two aluminum alloy plates on the left and right sides. When transporting the injured person, first place them in a flat position, fix their neck, and then insert the left and right pieces of the stretcher into their back from the side of the injured person, buckle them together, and then carry them.
3. Negative pressure inflatable cushion fixed stretcher
The use of a negative pressure inflatable cushion type fixed stretcher is the best tool for handling patients with multiple fractures and spinal injuries. Inflatable pads can properly secure the entire body of an injured person. When using, inflate the cushion first and then flatten it. Place the injured person inside the cushion, extract the air from the bag, and the cushion will become hard. At the same time, the injured person will be firmly fixed in it and can maintain stability throughout transportation.
4. Basket stretcher
Also known as "Stoke Basket", there are two common types on the market: aluminum alloy type; Synthetic resin type; Its shape is similar to its name, like a "small boat". When transporting trapped personnel, they are placed inside a stretcher, with the stretcher "protruding" edges around them and a flat belt on the front side to "seal" the trapped personnel inside the stretcher. This will not cause the trapped person to detach from the stretcher due to its displacement (such as flipping or shaking). Behind the security, there are also some hidden dangers. If the trapped person is overweight, and the flat belt tied to their front is too tight, combined with prolonged operation time, it is easy to cause chest tightness and suffocation of the trapped person. The North American firefighting community refers to the situation where trapped individuals die inside basket stretchers due to improper handling as "iron coffins" (early basket stretchers were mostly made of aluminum alloy).
5. Roller stretcher
Also known as a "multifunctional stretcher" (Sked), it is similar in use to a basket stretcher, but has a lighter weight (8 to 12 kilograms) and can be rolled up and carried in a drum or backpack. Its raw material is a special synthetic resin with corrosion resistance, usually orange in color. The rolling stretchers in the mainland market are mostly similar products from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and other countries that imitate Japan and South Korea. In the North American firefighting industry, the behavior of trapped individuals dying inside roll stretchers due to improper operation by rescue workers is referred to as "shroud" (early roll stretchers were mostly made of high-strength canvas).
6. Basic dimensions of rescue stretchers:
The bed surface of the stretcher can be adjusted to tilt forward or backward according to actual operating requirements Bed backrest
The back is supported by a lockable pneumatic spring, which can be adjusted steplessly within the range of 0-60 degrees
Equipped with front and rear fixing brackets, the stretcher can be locked by installing it in an appropriate position on the ambulance
